The Bird Control Australia Birdzout 12S bioacoustics unit protects areas of up to 10 hectares (24 acres). The all in one, eight speaker enclosure plus 4 X horn speakers is great for use in larger multi block areas. The horn speakers bringing a deeper sound.

Natural bird distress and predator sounds cause birds to feel threatened and unsafe. Their instincts tell them to leave or avoid the areas covered. These sounds can be volume adjusted to blend in with the surrounding environment, so they can be used in more confined or built up areas. Sounds on the birdzout bioacoustics units are played in random order, at random intervals and also have the option to automatically change the sounds used, every few days, to prevent bird habituation.

Bird Control Australia Bioacoustics units are a safe and humane solution to deter birds from a variety of areas. These units use natural bird distress signals, predator calls and harassment sounds that frighten and confuse pest birds. Saving time, money and labour, a cost effective bird deterrent system.

Each unit is supplied with 9 sound libraries covering a range of predator birds, birds in distress and harassment sounds. The sounds are easily changed using the new phone app feature making it easier when the speaker unit is placed high.

Custom Sounds

We have a large sound database, with the ability to target a variety of different bird species in different areas and situations. Each unit is supplied with multiple sound libraries. Each library contains a mix of predator bird sounds, birds in distress sounds and electronic harassment sounds that cover almost all bird species. The sounds can be set to change randomly during different days.

How do you deter Magpie Larks (pee wees)?

Magpie Larks have very little response to sound devices.

The best way to deter them is by attacking their sense of sight.

Holographic bird scare ribbon flapping in the breeze works well on them.

The Indoor Laser also works well if undercover as it uses beams which resemble lightning bolts, which they are terrified of.

Taking away the reflection of the windows by making them opaque certainly helps as well.

If you have the room, the Scarybird Kite does a great job deterring all birds including Magpie Larks due to its ability to swoop and hover and the Prowler Owl is great for smaller areas such as decks or adjacent to pools and can conveniently be placed in a planter box.
