Domestic Shipping. We offer a flat rate from $12.90 to $29.90 for bulky items no matter how many items you package together and use Australia Post E-Parcel for our shipping service Australia wide and AusPost Express as an upgrade cost if fast delivery is required. Australia Post delivery times are usually within 3 to 5 days to all major cities. Shipping is calculated at check out.
Once shipped you will receive tracking information from AusPost where you can change delivery details for “Authority to Leave” packages at unattended homes. Please leave a note on your orders if you wish the packages to be left at a special location at your home. All packages are tracked through our automated tracking system. Please contact us if you require express service.
International. Where ever there are birds, we ship to you! We use Australia Post to dispatch orders. Delivery times vary depending on location from 5 to 14 working days. All packages are sent by registered post and trackable. For our New Zealand customers we offer competitive rates calculated at check out. Any duty’s, taxes and customs clearance is payable by the buyer.
RETURNS and Refunds
Due to the nature of wild birds, the vast range of breeds, environment and seasonal habits of bird species, we do not offer our products for sale on a trial and return basis. Please choose your product carefully with the information provided, consult our sales team or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are unsure of your purchase and our friendly staff will guide with your purchase.
Most of our products come with a 3 month product warranty against parts or electronic failures. Keep a copy of your receipt and return it to us for replacement or repair. Outside this 3 month period we advise you contact manufacturer direct whom at their discretion may have differing warranty periods.
The Customer has specific legal rights under the Australian Consumer Law in respect of goods and services purchased from Bird Control Australia. As a business we are doing our obligation within the Australian consumer law. We therefore offer CONDITIONAL refunds and replacements.
If you would like to return your purchase for any reason, details of our returns guidelines are outlined below. If returned goods do not meet these criteria, a refund will be declined and we will return the products to you.
All refunds must be authorised by a BCA staff member either over the phone or by email prior to return.
A restocking fee of 10% or $15 per item , whichever is the greater , applies and shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer and will not be refunded.
Refunds are made if goods are returned in original and resellable condition with all packaging, manuals and registration cards within 6 weeks of date of purchase.
Some items are not returnable under any circumstances, these products are items such as consumables and returned items that are missing parts or are not in new condition. Additionally such returns may not be accepted by us or will be charged a restocking fee at our discretion which exceeds the minimum restocking fee of 10%.
For change of mind purchases, within 7 days of product arrival, unopened or unused products, returns are possible with a restocking fee of 10% or $15 per item , whichever is the greater. Shipping costs to be paid by the customer.
