Shock-Tape endures all types of exposure with excellent results. The tape is unaffected by a variety of harsh exposure conditions, freezing cold, high surface temperatures, direct sun and salt air. The adhesive base is a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive.
A pure acrylic film is laminated to the adhesive base. Acrylic films are proven in outdoor signs, auto and house paints. For this film, sun deck tests have shown no signs of aging (cracking/yellowing) over 9 year period. The flat wires bonded to the top of the tape are 100% aluminium and are extremely corrosion resistant. They will not oxidize under normal conditions.
Once the red backing is removed the tape is clear in colour so will not affect the aesthetics.

I came across the Bird Control Shock Tape 7 years ago when I built a new home.
Our black terracotta roof line was the highest in the area and immediately became a roosting point for the neighbourhood flock that rewarded with their unsightly droppings.
I installed the shock tape after finding it on the internet and now 7 years later it is still bird dropping free.
So happy with the result I’ve just installed it on the entire parapet that creates roosting points at my newly renovated dealership. The Target building adjacent has a huge problem with pigeons that were attempting to invade our roof space but thanks to the installation of the shock tape all round we are still bird free.

The shock tape is fantastic. I was surprised how invisible it is, yet very effective, especially compared to spikes. We’ve applied it on top of beams on the pergola in our courtyard. We sit and watch the birds come to roost, but as they land on the tape they get a little surprise and off they go. That’s another problem solved. We have been using the sonic repeller in our rear garden and its still working well after more than a year. Its fantastic. Until we started using these products, we were forever having to clean up after the birds. Now they stay in the trees where they belong and I don’t have to worry about the bird poo affecting the kids or dog.
