The Yard Sentinel allows you to target specific outdoor pests like bats, pigeons, Mynas, magpies, cats, rodents, possums, rabbits and more! The unit features a weatherproof four-command remote control.
The Yard Sentinel features an adjustable Passive Infrared (PIR) motion sensor with Night Time Scanner technology that senses motion from all directions up to 45 feet (13 metres). The unit responds to an intruder by flashing a blaze from its strobe and emitting a high frequency 120 decibel sound blast. Ultrasonic blasts at high frequency are intolerable to most pests.
The environmentally friendly Intelligent Power System (IPS) technology saves energy for the DC battery and activates the unit when the AC power fails. The IPS provides an uninterrupted power system that allows the unit to continue operating even after the AC power fails.
The Yard Sentinel offers customisable settings, allowing you to tailor its operation to your specific needs. You can adjust the frequency, duration, and sensitivity levels of the ultrasonic waves to target particular pests or adjust the range of coverage. This flexibility ensures that you can create an environment that is unwelcoming to pests while minimising any potential impact on nearby pets or beneficial wildlife.

Thank you for your advice and recommendations on how to resolve our issue of swallows in our 3 bay car shed.
Your communication and willingness to help was first class.
Being on a farm, we have no shortage of birds including the pesty swallows which have settled in our car shed.
I have tried numerous deterrents with no success, until now.
Using the combination of the Bird Laser and Yard Sentinel RC Ultrasonic unit has been extremely effective in moving the swallows out of the shed (no more bird poop on our vehicles).
At sunset on the first day of use, I went into the shed to watch the swallows fly into the shed and straight out. They did try and settle in but as the Ultrasonic cycled through the settings they would leave the shed in distress. Eventually they failed to return and left the shed.
Both of the units are very easy to mount and just turn on the power and you’re away (your video on the Ultrasonic settings was very helpful).
I was initially concerned of the effect from the Ultrasonic on the shed cat, dogs and the horse in the paddock behind the shed. You did reassure me that being domestic animals that they are not bothered as they already feel safe in their environment. Your advice was correct and all the animals were unfased (although the cat was playing and chasing the laser dots).

This is so true, and I am very thankful for the proudct and service. After living next to a few Indian Mynah bird roosting trees (the birds have been roosting here for over 10 years) causing all sorts of problems to my property as well as the natural environment, with some perisistance the yard sentinel (placed in the tree), worked beyond belief!

10-20 swallows were landing on my boat every dawn and at dusk.
I set it up on the bow and it has been at least 90% effective. As long as the birds land in its radius they are completely deterred.

I’m so very pleased to share this review on my experience with this company.
My problem was specifically with myna birds during the day and fruit bats at night so I called the team at Bird Control Australia who recommended using the Balcony Guard and the Yard Sentinel RC.
The Yard Sentinel needed to be on day and night with the optional sonic volume on during the day only as it is essential for deterring mynas.
The Balcony Guard was to give us the additional coverage required for deterring the bats as they were in a tree but we were mindful of not using sound at night. We needed something silent.
Well, not even a week on and both off the pests have disappeared!
Had I not contacted the team, I probably would have purchased the wrong product and had a different result.
I am most impressed with how easy they were to contact, how friendly they were to converse with and how quickly the products arrived.
These guys are based in Sydney and are the real deal. Cant say I have ever had such a great experience buying something online.

Highly recommend. We live in inner city and possums were eating vine on the pergola. We’ve attached it to top of pergola as they were jumping onto it from the roof. Since installing there have been new uneaten shoots on vine and no more nighttime thumps on the roof. Initially had sonic switched on but turned off as was annoying us! It works perfectly well with just the ultrasonic. Brilliant!!

Fantastic product and service

Great multi purpose device
Bought 2 of these units and used as trial in the shed to get rid of starlings. They worked well and so moved them to the rooftop to get rig of pigeons and cockatoos which were visiting early in the morning. Got rid of those 2! Good bye Myna Birds
Not sure what happened this year – its like the Hitchcock movie Birds – myna birds, pigeons and magpies. Bird droppings everywhere and so hard to get the stains out. But since we installed the Yard Sentinel droppings have reduced significantly. It is working very well and very unobtrusive. I would definitely recommend this product. You’ll start to see reduced droppings very soon. Should have got one earlier.

Great Product and Works
It’s a goer .. Flying Foxes/Fruit Bats were wreaking havoc with my Mango Tree.
Only one on the grass after I put the unit on the fence and I think that one fell off of its own accord.
There is a motion activated light at the lower trunk of the tree (hardwired 12 V LED) and a motion activated floodlight
on the shed nearby which seemed to have only a small deterrent effect.
Was going to hardwire the HR132 but as it is only needed seasonally, the battery option is Brilliant.
Would recommend for any situation similar to mine.

Stop the Possums! This article appeared in the Herald Sun (Melbourne) on Friday 13 Feb and no we didn’t write it! It was sent in by one of our customers Mr Peter Nell who said ‘We had the same problem as Deborah Best (YS Feb 10). I bought a Yard Sentinel electronic device to rid our property of the fouling possums and have not had any possums in the last three to four months of use.
