Description
Shock Tape is watertight and weatherproof.
Interior/exterior installation. Great for beams, ledges, pipes, signs, etc.
Shock Tape is self sticking and easy to apply.
Pest Birds come in contact with the 2 wires and receive a harmless sting moving them on.
Used with visual decoys or sound deterrents will ensure the bird associates the visual/sound warning with the harmless sting it received, ensuring the pest birds will not return.
It can also be used to deter Possums walking along fence tops and ledges.
WARNING:
Ensure your neighbours are aware of your installation if installing on a shared fence line.
Care should be taken not to place it in areas within reaching distance of people who are not aware it is installed.

Excellent result! Cockatoos are gone from my balcony and not vandalising my succulents anymore. Plus I had fun watching them getting zappped but not harmed.
I’ve installed Shock tape system myself, it’s wasn’t difficult. At first I placed solar panel in the sun to charge while I was attaching the tape all along wrap around balcony railing and connecting the wires at the corners. By the time tape was all attached battery had a bit of charge already and the tape was working – giving a bit of electric shock. Later when battery got fully charged the power increased.
If you touch both wires on the tape you get noticeable and pretty memorable electric shock, though harmless. No wonder birds are staying away now. It’s been 6 full days since Shock tape got installed and cockatoos are vandalising red maple tree nearby instead of pot plants on my balcony.
I wish I knew about Shock tape system long ago!
It’s worth the price and is working 100%.

Eastern Parrots were chewing away my gable barge boards to gain access to my ceiling space to nest.
I tried ultra-sonic & audible noisy scarers, flashing rotating mirrors, ‘Scat’ repellant, holographic tape. None of these items had any affect on the parrots.
I found Bird Control Australia on the internet, & purchased a Shock Tape Kit, & all my problems have been solved.
I was very impressed by the advice & attention that Joe gave me, to result in a very positive outcome.

I came across the Bird Control Shock Tape 7 years ago when I built a new home.
Our black terracotta roof line was the highest in the area and immediately became a roosting point for the neighbourhood flock that rewarded with their unsightly droppings.
I installed the shock tape after finding it on the internet and now 7 years later it is still bird dropping free.
So happy with the result I’ve just installed it on the entire parapet that creates roosting points at my newly renovated dealership. The Target building adjacent has a huge problem with pigeons that were attempting to invade our roof space but thanks to the installation of the shock tape all round we are still bird free.

Our balcony is not large, but we had a bird problem. First, the sulphur crested cockatoos liked to come in teams to destroy the plant pots. They didn’t eat anything. They just yanked flowers out of their pots and dropped them on the floor. They are like teenage gangs of youths who just want to do damage, for the sake of it. How such a good looking animal can have such a destructive personality bewilders me. The second problem was that we had a couple of pigeons which were turning up regularly, looking for a place to nest, and lay eggs. Neither the cockatoos, nor the pigeons were dicsouraged by mirrors, moving windmills, streamers, or rubber snakes. Then we spoke to Angie at BirdControl. We bought the Shock Tape solution. It took just a few hours to install. I don’t know where the birds have gone… I just know they’re gone! We never even saw one land on the tape, but they clearly have. I tested it myself, by just placing my hand on the tape. I wouldn’t recommend it, but it definitely explains why the birds don’t come back after they have landed on it once! Good job Angie!

I recently purchased Shock Tape to put on the edge of our infinity pool where seagulls were perching and drinking out of the pool. It works very well and is not even noticeable. Thank you for your help with this.

We purchase Shock Tape and it’s components from Bird Control Australia to install on office buildings, schools and some residential applications. We find it is easy to install, highly effective for keeping birds off window ledges, roofs and flat surfaces and has almost no visual impact. BCA are easy to deal with and are always stocked up when we have tight time lines. Thank you team

Just replaced our shock tape. It lasted 11 years and has been the best bird And possum deterrent we could have ever hoped to find. We use it on the top of our fence and railing which was a pathway for the possums and perching area for osprey with their kill which as you can imagine was quite messy. Glad to see you stock great products as there are a lot of crap ones out there.

The shock tape is fantastic. I was surprised how invisible it is, yet very effective, especially compared to spikes. We’ve applied it on top of beams on the pergola in our courtyard. We sit and watch the birds come to roost, but as they land on the tape they get a little surprise and off they go. That’s another problem solved. We have been using the sonic repeller in our rear garden and its still working well after more than a year. Its fantastic. Until we started using these products, we were forever having to clean up after the birds. Now they stay in the trees where they belong and I don’t have to worry about the bird poo affecting the kids or dog

Great for pool fences! Tiny finches were lining up on our pool fence until we started using Shock Tape. It’s so effective and better than using ugly spikes. Having it connected to power is great. We just need to remember to turn it off when visitors come!

Summit Open Space Services have recently installed bird Shock tape in Phoenix palms for both a Council and Strata Company.
They were installed using an Elevated work platform (EWP) and connected to a solar battery. It is easy to install and both have had
Instant success of Ibis birds not returning to nest in the palms.

Great for keeping birds off railings and ledges
We had all sorts of birds perching on our railing and defecating on our outdoor tiles. We have had absolutely no birds come back. Haven’t seen the tiles this clean in years!
Will now use at our commercial warehouse along the ledges to keep pigeons away.
