Cruelty Free Rodent Control

News Flash!

Under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Regulation 2025, the use of glue traps for rodent control is now prohibited across New South Wales.

As outlined in Part 6, Miscellaneous, Section 42 of the Regulation:

• A glue trap must not be set unless it has a cage or other protection which prevents an animal from contact with the glue, or it is otherwise designed to prevent the capture of an animal in the trap
• This restriction applies across the entirety of NSW
• A glue trap is defined as any device that uses a non-drying adhesive material as the mode of capture
