The Bird Xpeller Pro V1 is a sonic bird scarer, meaning it emits sounds that are fully audible to humans. It uses high-definition digital playbacks of naturally recorded bird distress signals and predator calls (such as hawks and other raptors). These sounds really just sound like birds in nature to us humans but the real threat sounds frighten, confuse, and disorient target birds, forcing them to instinctually flee the area.

While Version 2 (V2) is optimised for larger birds, Version 1 (V1) is specifically tailored for smaller birds and common pests. It features 8 distinct built-in sound settings designed to repel:

  • Pigeons (Settings: Pigeon I, II, and III)
  • Sparrows and Starlings
  • Myna birds and Lorikeets
  • Doves and Seagulls (Settings: Gull I and II)
  • General predators (Settings: Predator I, II, and III)

Important Note: Sonic devices (recorded predator and distress calls) have very little effect on swallows.

Because swallows build their nests inside man-made structures, they feel highly secure and are rarely frightened away by noise. If you are dealing with a swallow infestation, we recommend alternative methods:

  • Ultrasonic Devices (like the Quadblaster QB4 or Ultrason X), which use silent, irritating frequencies that disrupt them combined with:.
  • Bird Lasers, which visually scare and disorient them.

A single Bird Xpeller Pro V1 unit can protect anywhere from a small 10-square-meter zone up to a massive 1 acre (approx. 4,000 sqm), thanks to its adjustable volume control.

To maximise your coverage or manage areas without direct mains power, you can purchase an Extension Speaker (which comes with 30 metres of lead). Using an extension speaker allows you to keep the overall volume lower by spreading the sound between two points, and gives you the option to disable the main unit’s speaker if needed.

Yes! The device is fully customisable and programmable for easy DIY pest control. Via the weather-resistant NEMA-type control box, you can completely customize:

  • Operating times: Set it to operate during the day only, night only, or 24/7.
  • Sound intervals: Adjust the time gaps between broadcasts.
  • Sound selection & volume: Choose which specific calls play and adjust the volume to suit smaller residential or larger commercial environments.

Power Supply: The unit has a low power draw (12V – 500mA) and comes standard with a 240V Australian wall plug. For remote applications on farms, boats, or jetties, it can also be connected to an external 12V DC car or boat battery using an optional 12V adapter.

Ideal Placement: For the best results, mount the single-speaker unit 1 to 2 meters directly above the area needing protection (such as warehouse rafters, yards, commercial facilities, or boating yards).
