The 12S Bioaccoustic Bird Repeller Pro is the larger, more powerful version of the Birdzout bioacoustic range. It covers up to 10 hectares (24 acres) compared to the 8S’s 5 hectares. The key difference is the addition of 4 horn speakers, which produce a deeper, more realistic sound quality — particularly effective for sounds such as motorcycle noise and gunshots. It is ideal for larger multi-block areas.

The 12S Bioaccoustic Bird Repeller Pro covers areas of up to 10 hectares (approximately 24 acres). Coverage is a guide only and can vary depending on the application, terrain, and bird species being targeted. Contact Bird Control Australia for advice on the right unit for your specific situation.

The 12S is controlled via a free Android or iOS app using Bluetooth. Through the app you can adjust sound libraries, set volume levels, and configure timing schedules. The app-based control system makes it easy to manage the unit remotely, even when it is positioned high or in a difficult-to-access location.

Each unit comes with 9 sound libraries containing a mix of predator bird sounds, birds in distress, and electronic harassment sounds. Example sounds include Cockatoo Alarm, Crow/Raven Warning, Galah Alarm with Peregrine Falcon, and Lorikeet Distress calls. Sounds play in random order at random intervals, and can be set to automatically rotate every few days to prevent bird habituation.

The package includes the Bioacoustic S12 control unit with inbuilt Bluetooth, the Octi 8-speaker box, 4 horn speakers, a 3-metre speaker lead, a mains power adapter, and battery clips for 12-volt battery operation. The unit has an IP55 weather rating and a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty. The tripod shown in photos is a special order — contact Bird Control Australia for availability.

Bird Control Australia is confident in the effectiveness of its bioacoustic products, but as with all wildlife deterrents, results can vary depending on the situation. If birds are nesting or have a strong food source on your property, some persistence and adjustment of settings may be needed. The team at Bird Control Australia is always available by phone or email to provide expert advice on positioning and settings to get the best results.

It is recommend where possible to have the 12S Bioaccoustic bird repeller set up above the crops canopy or as high as possible. This way the sound will travel and the sound of predator birds will travel from above.
