The 8S Bioaccoustic Bird Repeller MK2 is a professional-grade audible bird deterrent that uses natural bird distress calls, predator sounds, and electronic harassment sounds to make pest birds feel threatened and unsafe. Birds instinctively leave or avoid the protected area. Sounds are played in random order at random intervals to prevent birds from becoming habituated.
The 8S Bioaccoustic Bird Repeller MK2 protects areas of up to 5 hectares (approximately 12 acres). It is best suited to larger single-block areas such as orchards, vineyards, agricultural land, airports, warehouses, and commercial properties.
The 8S Bioaccoustic Bird Repeller is controlled via a free downloadable app on Android or Apple devices. Through the app you can adjust sound libraries, set volume levels, and configure timing schedules. This makes it easy to manage the unit even when the speaker tower is mounted high or in a hard-to-reach location.
Each unit is supplied with 9 sound libraries covering a range of predator bird sounds, birds in distress, and electronic harassment sounds. The libraries are designed to target a wide variety of bird species. Sounds can be set to automatically rotate every few days to prevent birds from adapting to a predictable pattern. Feel free to contact us for a list of sounds.
Yes. The 8S Bioaccoustic Bird Repeller is a completely safe and humane bird deterrent. It does not harm birds in any way, it simply uses sounds that trigger their natural instinct to flee perceived danger. It is suitable for use in agricultural, commercial, and residential settings. The sounds blend in the environment so it is not as obtrusive as gas guns.
The package includes the 8S Bioaccoustic Octi 8-speaker box, a 3-metre speaker lead, a mains power adapter, and battery clips for 12-volt battery operation. Please note the tripod shown in product photos is not included. Contact Bird Control Australia for tripod availability.
It is recommend where possible to have the 8S Bioaccoustic bird repeller set up above the crops canopy or as high as possible. This way the sound will travel and the sound of predator birds will travel from above.
