Ducks don’t like disco

We’ve had a major breakthrough at Bird Control Australia recently which has resulted in a solution to defecating duck problems around swimming pools, river fronts and ovals.

These pesky ducks who like to turn up at night, not only dodge their entrance fee but they leave a mighty big mess of duck poo behind.

Being mainly night time pests means that we have the advantage of getting the highest and best use out of our lasers! The Bird Laser works in the dark and at dawn or in dimly lit areas sending out a series of very bright, flashing green and red laser lights which look a little like disco lights only brighter.

The Hawk Laser is a single beam laser and is strong enough to scare the ducks day and night.

If  not using the Hawk Laser, you may still need to manage them during the day as well and the way to do that is to have a decoy bird of prey like the Visual Scare Hawk hanging high above.

The Scarybird Kite is a swooping kite which comes complete with a 9 meter pole and is also a terrific option.
Using a natural taste and smell aversion liquid like the Kings Duck Solution mixed with mulch in the vegetation they like to feed on gives you a triple barrelled approach to deterring them as you are affecting almost all of their senses causing them to duck off to another place!
The Motion Activated Sprinkler- Hydroblast Scarecrow has been a popular choice as well. You can link several up together, the sensor will set off the high pressure water trigger.

These strategies are now being implemented by local councils.
