Applications:
The Prowler Owl comes flat packed for shipping purposes and takes about 4 minutes to assemble and get ready. The sock or main part of the body is deep and allows the decoy to flutter in the breeze and rotate with the wind.
It is best mounted on a post or conduit (half inch diameter), roof aerial or stick. Placing on a stick in a pot plant makes it portable and easy to move around.
The secret to this decoy bird of prey’s success is the hunting position and wings ability to move with a gentle breeze. Stationary decoy birds are ineffective!

When I first got my Prowler owl in 2022, I mounted it on a 4m flexing pole and all hell broke lose. Every bird around screamed and disapeared.
The wings are flimsy and fade with the UV but I bough a UV protectant spray and more than 2 years later, it is still going and doing an excellent job.

Our Prowler Owl was put up last Thursday. Since then, the native doves that were cooing so loudly and were waking us up before 5am have stopped. We’re been able to rise at our time and not theirs!

I mounted it on a 4 metre flexing pole and every bird in the area screamed in fear and disapeared.
